ABOUT KRDP

Map of the Mbale area Kimbuta Rural Development Programme comprises a Registered Charity in the U.K. and a Non-Governmental Organisation in Uganda. Through KRDP, Christians are working to harness the creativity, resourcefulness and commitment of the people of Butta village in Mbale district to carry out projects which will be beneficial to their community. The village is approximately 200 kilometres from the national capital, Kampala. It is a rural area in which the majority of people rely on subsistence farming for their living.

Kimtab clinic photo The Kimtab Clinic provides nurse-led health care to people within an area of about 100 square kilometres.

Butta Primary School sign The Butta Primary School provides for all children within the same area.

Kimaluli High School photo Kimaluli High School teaches children from the ages of 11 to 15 years. It suffers from a shortage of equipment.
